It is with great sadness that we were informed of the death of the highly respected founder of Clydebank Asbestos Group, David Colraine, who passed away at home on Saturday, 17th January.

On Friday the 12th of September 2025, staff, volunteers and supporters of CAG were delighted to attend the first ever Scottish Asbestos Conference. Held at the Corinthian in Glasgow and organised by Digby Brown solicitors, the event brought together people from the medical, legal, political and charitable sectors who work with those affected by asbestos. On 14th November 2025, the doors of Clydebank Town Hall were opened to welcome 38 members, supporters and local politicians to Clydebank Asbestos Group’s Annual General Meeting. The new Clydebank Museum was opened in July 2025 in the basement of Clydebank Library. CAG’s annual International Workers Memorial Day (IWMD) event took place on Saturday 26th April.
